His Grandfather Kept Wandering Off. This 15 Year Old’s Solution? Pure Genius

Kenneth Shinozuka is a special 15-year-old kid that came up with an invention that is going to help thousands of Alzheimer patients around the world. When Kenneth was only four years old, his beloved grandfather Deming was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Deming started wandering off late at night, one time even onto a dangerous freeway. That was when Kenneth knew something had to be done.

He came up with a genius idea that literally saved his grandfather’s life. Check out the video below.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than five million Americans are living with the disease now. By the year 2050, they estimate there will be 16 million people with Alzheimer’s. It’s not difficult to see how Kenneth’s simple yet effective invention has the potential to help so many people.

We’re completely blown away by Kenneth’s creation and his love for his grandfather. We knew we had to share their story so that more people will know about his brilliant invention to keep people safe.
