Disney Has Been Hiding A Secret Right In Your Face. If You’ve Never Realized, Here’s The Proof
There’s something hiding in so many Disney and Pixar movies that you’ve watched. You’ve probably seen it over and over again again without ever realizing it – the magic code: A113.
This secret code has been appearing in their animated movies for years. Don’t believe it? We have the proof. The hidden message is everywhere.
A cardboard box in A Bug’s Life.
Even on this camera in Finding Nemo.
This one’s a little trickier – the coordinates from Mr. Incredible’s cell from The Incredibles.
The courtroom number in Up.
On different vehicles in Cars
Even on an ear tag in Ratatouille!
In Wall-E, it’s the code for the Abandon Earth Protocol. Remember this?
We even see it hidden in roman numerals above a doorway in Brave.
Did you notice this in Monsters University?
It even made it’s way to the Avengers – see the top left ‘File number’ on the screen.
And the Simpsons!
So what does this mean? It refers to something so simple.
A113 refers to the classroom number at the California Institute of Arts where many animators learned their skills. This room was where all first year graphic design and character animation was taught, many of the animators at Pixar and Disney have been to A113. By hiding ‘A113’ somewhere in the film, these animators are able to pay tribute to where they all started from – a classroom without which these movies would never have been made!
It’s fun to try and spot the hidden numbers in the movies – try and find it next time you watch a Disney or Pixar movie!
