Muslim Family Scared About Visiting Restaurant in the Deep South And Then They Got the Bill
Eslam Mohamed decided to go to Olive Garden recently with a group of other Muslim families near Georgia, in the Deep South of the USA. He was very worried about the treatment him and his family would receive as they are Muslim.
“Everyone in the restaurant knew that we were Arabs Muslims on the table because of the language and the ladies were having scarves over their head (Hijab),” he said.
When he got the bill, he didn’t expect this treatment though. He shared his experience in a Facebook post below:
The presidential candidate Eslam is referring to is likely Donald Trump, who has been very publicly outspoken with his proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States until security measures can be further examined.
